1、申请来华签证

来华学习的国际学生须向本人国籍国或者居住国的中国使（领）馆申请办理（X1字或X2字）签证。申请来华留学签证时须提供我校寄发的录取通知书、《外国来华留学人员签证申请表》（JW202/JW201表）以及其他使（领）馆指定的材料。

2、申请签证延期、 申请居留许可及居留许可延期

第一步：国际学生入境后，须提前至少15日提交以下材料，并根据所持证件种类和学习期限，凭学校出入境事务办公室出具材料办理签证延期、换发或延期居留许可。

A、护照原件，护照首页复印件、当前签证或居留许可页复印件、最新入境章页复印件

B、住宿登记表；

C、加盖国际教育学院公章的录取通知书原件或复印件；

D、缴纳学费收据；

E、JW201/JW202表复印件；

F、延期申请书（未能按期毕业学生须提供）；

G、境外人员体格检查记录验证证明；

备注：

1)  《住宿登记表》：入住校内公寓的国际学生由公寓前台管理人员协助办理；租住校外房屋的国际学生须到租住房屋所在地管辖的派出所办理登记；

2)  奖学金学生无须提供缴纳学费收据；

3)  《境外人员体格检查记录验证证明》：首次转成居留许可及学习期限一年以上（含一年）的国际学生须提供。

第二步：出入境事务办公室审核国际学生申请，制作学校出具的签证或居留许可申请材料。

第三步：国际学生领取出入境事务办公室出具的材料。

第四步：国际学生自行前往哈尔滨市公安局出入境管理局办理最新签证或居留许可。

Visa Procedures

1.     Entry Visa

International students who study in China should apply for an X1 or X2 visa at the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate with Admission Notice, Visa Application Form (JW202 Form) and other relevant documents required by the local Embassy or Consulate.

2.     Visa Extension, Residence Permit Application and Extension of Residence Permit

Step 1: International students should provide the following documents at least 15 days ahead of visa expiration and proceed visa or residence permit application and extension, according to your visa type, schooling length, and documents from HIT Office of Exit & Entry Administration.

A. Valid passport, photocopy of passport first page, photocopy of valid visa page or residence permit page, photocopy of the page with latest entry stamp

B. Registration Form of Temporary Residence.

C. Admission Notice with stamp of College of International Education or its photocopy

D. Receipt of Tuition Fee Payment

E. Photocopy of JW201 or JW202 Form

F. School Extension Application (for those who fail to graduate on time)

G. Physical Examination Certification

Notes:

1. Registration Form of Temporary Residence: Students living in dormitories on campus might take their passport to the reception; students living in off-campus private accommodation should take their passports to their local police station.

2. Students with scholarship do not need to provide receipt of tuition fee payment.

3. Physical Examination Certification: Students who apply for residence permit for the first time or study for over one year should provide.

Step 2: Application will be reviewed by Office of Exit & Entry Administration, who will provide official documents required for visa application or residence permit.

Step 3: Students claim the documents.

Step 4: Students should apply for latest visa or residence permit personally in the Exit and Entry Administration of Harbin Public Security Bureau.
